No Case Too Large or Too Small
Attorney William Young believes that there is no such thing as a minor or petty criminal case. Being accused of any crime is a trying event, and can have lasting consequences for the criminal accused, including loss of liberty and tremendous implications on many aspects of a person's life, including a person's earnings capacity, employment opportunities, and immigration opportunities.
Attorney William Young treats all clients with dignity and respect. He believes trust and effective communication are essential to effective criminal defense representation. As such, Attorney Young promptly returns phone calls and emails- usually the same day- both during and outside of normal office hours, does not charge for consultations, and makes himself available to his clients for in-office appointments. Some criminal defense attorneys only meet their client one or two times over the duration of the attorney-client relationship. This is not the type of law practice Attorney Young operates. William Young knows each of his clients by name. You also don't have to worry about Attorney Young pawning your case off on another attorney after you hire him. Attorney Young will work your case from start to finish- no exceptions.
Attention to Detail
Criminal defense law is all about attention to detail. Problems with the government's case are often difficult to spot. Attorney William A. Young, Jr. believes in attacking every aspect of the government's case in order to achieve the best results for his clients. His approach often produces outstanding results for clients who were prepared to plead guilty. Furthermore, William often utilizes his science background (William was a Biology major) to his clients' benefit by finding holes in the government's scientific proof in DUI/DWI cases.
When not practicing law, William devotes many hours traveling to and attending numerous seminars pertaining to criminal defense law, DUI/DWI defense law, and law practice management throughout Tennessee and the United States. William believes firmly that the practice of law is a lifelong learning experience and that every attorney, no matter how skilled or knowledgeable, has room to improve. In the last year alone, William has attended over 50 hours of continuing legal education "CLE" and advanced legal training pertaining to criminal defense and DUI/DWI defense.
